All of the rasuls of this world all have something in common - not many people liked them. In fact they had more enemies than followers. In no way am I comparing you to a rasul of Allah, lets face it - none of us have that status. But in some ways, we're all more alike than we think we are. (Am I making any sense? I'll just carry on..)
To believe in Allah, His angels, His books, His messengers etc. is actually such a blessing that we as muslims share. Without it we would be lost, and possibly in a state worse than some kuffaar.
After my Isha prayer the other night, I was thinking to myself - "what if I wasn't born a muslim?". I can't even begin to imagine what I would be doing, what kind of person I would be. But alhamdulillah, the mere fact that Allah's mercy let my soul enter a home of Islam, words can't explain how beautiful that is.. The person that I am is defined through that.
Life isn't meant to be a basket of roses. Our tests, though hard as they may seem are miniscule compared to that of others. You just have to take whatever your test is, and pass it day after day. Our journeys too short to be spent over worries and problems of the dunya.
If people aren't nice to you, be civil and love them for the sake of Allah. Its their default.
Use your loneliness not as a weakness, but as strength. Isolate yourself and this will increase the time that you have to be at Allah's side, in ibaadat and rememberance. Through spirituality, your iman will strengthen.
Sorry if that was a load of rubbish..
