  1. asalaamualaykum, homosexuality is forbidden and is against all what islam stands for , there is no such thing as toterance with homosexuals they are a disgusting and vile people that have gone astray. ALLAH tells us in His own words how He punished the people of Lot for their homosexual behaviour. The story of prophet Lot, on whom be peace, finds mention in several Qur'anic passages, especially Chapter 26:160-175 which reads: "The people of Lut rejected the apostles. Behold, their brother Lut said to them: "Will ye not fear (ALLAH)? "I am to you an apostle worthy of all trust. "So fear ALLAH and obey me. "No reward do I ask of you for it: my reward is only from the lord of the Worlds. "Of all the creatures in the world, will ye approach males, "And leave those whom ALLAH has created for you to be your mates? Nay, ye are a people transgressing (all limits)!" They said: "If thou desist not, O Lut! thou wilt assuredly be cast out!" He said: "I do detest your doings." "O my Lord! deliver me and my family from such things as they do!" So We delivered him and his family,- all Except an old woman who lingered behind. But the rest We destroyed utterly. We rained down on them a shower (of brimstone): and evil was the shower on those who were admonished (but heeded not)! Verily in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. And verily thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might Most Merciful."

  3. ASALAAMUALAYKUM, so called " muslimwakeup.com is a farce and anti islamic, it supports the idea of gay muslims? whatever that is? i was on that forum and they did not but attack me for standing aganst homosexuals as vile and disgusting . homosexuality is haraam [ forbidden ] in islam no matter anyone says the quraan is clear about this topic , Islam teaches that homosexual acts are sinful and punishable by ALLAH. This teaching comes not from human beings, but from the Creator of all humans. And verily thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might Most Merciful." From these passages we learn that ALLAH saved Lot and the righteous ones of his family, and rained on the rest a shower of brimstone, so they were utterly destroyed. This is mentioned in the Qur'an not only for the sake of information, but mainly to serve as a warning to anyone who dares to repeat such acts. Muslim believe that every human action leads to consequences. Good actions entail good results, and evil actions entail evil consequences. Some of these consequences may not become known for many years after a certain action. The consequences of some actions will become manifest only after death when one enters a new, everlasting life.... A common mistake among humans is that if they don't see any negative consequences for their actions they consider it harmless. Human experience has taught us that a source of superior knowledge can be of tremendous benefit to humans.... ALLAH, the source of all knowledge, warns us of His punishment if people perpetrate homosexual acts. Let us pay attention and learn the easy way. Some will say that a person may be born with homosexual tendencies. We say that everyone is a free agent. ALLAH lays before us two paths and has given us knowledge of where these paths lead. One is the path to which the devil call us. We must avoid that. One is the path leading to paradise. We must stick to that one. Everyone experiences evil prompting from time to time. We must resist those with all our might. If one feels a tendency to do something that ALLAH prohibits, he or she should seek help from a community of loving, caring, believers who would understand his or her difficulty and help him or her overcome it. A common ploy of the devil is to convince people that they cannot avoid sin. Then they do not even try. But ALLAH promises that the devil can have no lasting power over those who sincerely seek ALLAH(see Qur'an 15:42) Finally, our bodies are given to us in trust from ALLAH One should not use his or her body contrary to the user guide provided by its Maker. Consenting adults also need ALLAH's consent.

    Sufism

asalaamualaykum, brother what you have to understand is that most muslims that are studnts of the science of tassawuf are good sincere muslims, not all sufis are bidah - shirk commiting bafoons.
  5. dhikr is not bidah silly billy all peoples have there own cultural way of celebrating ALLAH , your concept of bidah is foolish and typical of a wahaabi. to sing and dance is part of fitrah and is a blessed thing called nature MASHALLAH , when people sing about ALLAH and whirl in celebration of the divne names of ALLAH that is a beutifull thing, only hardhearted backward un-natural people respond to it with evil intent. takfir is serious and also calling oneself a shaykh without idhin is also against sunnah.
  6. whats with all the wahaabi cut and paste jobs your ideology is flawed, and has no real substance. many words didnt exist at the time of sayyiduna rasullulah [saw] that doesnt mean they are wrong words to use? what planet do you live on ? MASHALLAH i think your perception of tassawuf is a little silli and proves that you know nothing of the science , with your anology of the use of words like ; sufism and tasswuff and falassfiyyah is an insult literacy and shows lack of aqal, i suppose that biology is a bidah as well then? come on you will have to do better than this sufism is a sceince not a sect or division or bidah.

ASALAAMUALAYKUM, sitting in unison is sunnah as we stand and sit in unison when we do salaah, i dont get your piont? dhikr of ALLAH is DHIKRULLAH no matter what you say, that is very simple to understand, this kind of bad attitude towards fellow muslims that decide to share there dhikrullah is unacceptable and fitnah. Acts of worship performed in a group – which include dhikru'llah – are more excellent than acts of worship done alone. The hearts meet in the group, and in the group people find mutual help and harmony. The weak can take from the strong, those in darkness from those with light, the dense from the diaphanous, the ignorant from those with knowledge, and so forth. Anas reported that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "When you come upon the meadows of the Garden, graze in them." He was asked, "What are the meadows of the Garden?" "Circles of dhikr," he replied. [at-Tirmidhi) Abu Hurayra reported that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "Allah Almighty has angels who travel the highways and by-ways seeking out gatherings of dhikr in the earth. When they find a gathering of dhikr, they enfold them with their wings stretching up to the heaven. Allah asks them, 'From where have you come?' They reply, 'We have come from Your slaves who are glorifying You, praising You, proclaiming Your oneness, asking of You and seeking refuge with You.' He says – and He knows better than them, 'What are they asking Me for?' They reply, 'They are asking You for the Garden.' He says, 'Have they seen it?' They reply, 'No, our Lord.' He says, 'How would it be if they were to see it?' Then He asks – and He knows better than them, 'What are they seeking refuge from?' 'From the Fire,' they reply. He asks, 'Have they seen it?' 'No,' they reply. Then He says, 'How would it be if they were to see it?' Then He says, 'I testify to you that I have forgiven them, I have given them what they ask Me for, and I given them the refuge which they ask of Me.' They say, 'Our Lord, among them is a wrongdoer who is sitting with them, but is not one of them.' He says, 'I have forgiven him as well. The one sitting with these people will not be wretched.'" (Muslim, at-Tirmidhi, al-Hakim) Abu Hurayra reported from Abu Sa'id al-Khudri that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "There are no people who remember Allah without the angels surrounding them, mercy covering them, tranquillity descending on them, and Allah mentioning them to those who are with Him." (Muslim, at-Tirmidhi) Anas reported that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "Allah Almighty has angels who travel about seeking out gatherings of dhikr. When they come to them, they encircle them." (Al-Bazzar) Anas also reported that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "When you come upon the meadows of the Garden, graze in them." He was asked, "What are the meadows of the Garden?" "Circles of dhikr." he replied. [at-Tirmidhi) The scholar Ibn 'Allan, commentator on al-Adhkar, said that this hadith means, "When you pass by a group remembering Allah, do the dhikr they are doing or listen to their dhikr. They are in the meadows of the Garden now or ultimately. The Almighty says, 'For him who fears the Station of his Lord there are two Gardens.' (55:45)" [al-Futuhat ar-Rabbaniyya 'ala'l-Adhkar an-Nawawiyya] In his gloss, Ibn 'Abdin said about dhikru'llah in a group, "Imam al-Ghazali compared doing dhikr alone and the dhikr of a group to the adhan of someone alone and the adhan of a group. He said, 'As the voices of a group of mu'adhdhins reach further than the voice of a single mu'adhdhin, so the dhikr of a group on one heart has more effect in lifting dense veils than the dhikr of a single person." In his Hashiyya, at-Tahtawi says: "Ash-Shar'awi states that scholars, both early and modern, agree that it is recommended to remember Allah Almighty in a group in the mosques and elsewhere without any objection unless their dhikr aloud disturbs someone sleeping, praying, or reciting the Qur'an, as is confirmed in books of fiqh."
  8. asalaamualaykum, Today there are many misconceptions about sufism [ tasawwuf ], Tasawwuf or Sufism is not esoteric Islam. Tasawwuf is the science of the path to Allah. Tasawwuf is the science of conforming the path of Islam through the direct experience of the Real instead of through the tongue or learning from books. This implies the abandonment of any theology. Tawhid is not theo-logical. In this sense Tasawwuf is the protector of Tawhid: La ilaha illallah. The Muslim affirms: La halwa wa la quwwata illa billah. It implies that there are not two forces in the universe. There is only Allah. It is typical of the esoteric theology to say that the world is divided into two forces fighting each other; the good verses the evil or the darkness versus the light or the truth versus the false. "Haqq is fighting Batil" - this is a typical dualist statement. But it is impossible. Batil, "falsity", cannot stand against Haqq, because there are no two powers except in the imagination of the mushrikun. And yet how many modernist books come with this deviating cosmology proper to the mushrikun. La halwa wa la quwwata illa billah also means that there is one source of power. Allah lends us His power and veils it from us with our limitations. Therefore we are the source of our own tribulations. We are only obstacle to the establishment of Islam. All the means are available to us. From this comes tawakkul: hasbunullahu wa niamal wakil, "Allah is enough for us and He is the best Guardian". Tawakkul is trust in Allah. It is the food of the faqir. It strengthens the faqir like the zuhud [ ASCETICISM ] weakens the "I", and it is one of the praiseworthy qualities which everybody must acquire. Allah says, "Whoever relies on Allah, He is enough for him." Its reality is confidence and calmness in the heart and the realization that the sustenance of your physical body is by Allah alone. It is not by anyone other than Allah, and it is not by any of the debris of this world nor by any other cause. What will help us towards this is to remember Allah that Allah guarantees us provision, and His knowledge and power are perfect, and that He is detached from creation and far remove from forgetfulness and from incapacity. Shaykh Ibn Ataillah wrote in his book The Abandonment of the Management of Affairs: "Entrusting our affairs to Allah is also a very important quality to acquire. In Quran, Allah relates that the believer among Pharaoh's people said: "I have entrusted my affair to Allah." Its reality is our desire for Allah to preserve us from all that has danger in it and against which we have no security. What helps us in that is to remember our own incapacity, on the basis of which we abandon our selves to Allah." Without this understanding people end up paralysed. But with it the Muslims is free to be a slave, that is, to obey in a way without barriers. The problem of trying to obey without understanding is that you can only do what you can. You can only move at the speed of your own misfortune and limitations. But to obey Allah while trusting Him is to abandon all sense of practical limitations, and to embark on the achievement of what Allah has ordered us to do. We obey Him not according to our deeds, but we obey Him according to what He has commanded us. We abandon the idea of being practical and we enter into the swift way of being slave. Obedience only takes place with understanding. Tasawwuf is the light and the heart of the Deen, and without it our understanding of the Shariah is superficial. Tasawwuf enhances our possibilities because it gives wisdom and light to every situation in life: it enlightens us in difficulty and guides us in ease. Tasawwuf is not being a passive, docile consumer in this society with enlightened evenings and weekends. Tasawwuf is the transformation of your heart so that you realize that you are in charge of Dunya, and dunya is not in charge of you. It allows us to understand that what Allah has ordered is possible, and it shows us the path to achieve our highest goals fisabilillah. Tasawwuf allows us to understand that the deeds of the heart are more powerful than the deed of the limbs. Tasawwuf renders all other knowledges subject to the highest knowledge which is La ilaha illallah. With Tasawwuf we realize that knowledge of Allah is above every other knowledge. Tasawwuf allows us to taste La halwa wa la quwwata illa billah. Those who are touched by this knowledge becomes different people and to them there are no barriers and no fears other than Allah. These are the people we want to create.
