  1. If I recall correctly the following video has a good intro to the history of the caliphate, and then goes into a deeper discussion around the events of its demise. There's a part 2 as well.
  2. Could you expand on this a little, it sounds a bit strange.
  3. Depends how much of a smarty pants your professor is. She might be able to intertwine a few topics into a single question.
  4. So I used to have a kindle, but now I just buy books.
  5. Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall Poor old fella had a Great fall she fell over! [say in style of a delinquent]
  6. I think many universities just teach Java as it's become conventional to do so as it's been around so long. I can understand if it's part of a CS course. I agree that it's probably more effective to teach ruby or python to an absolute rookie though.
  7. An array is a container with a fixed number of compartments. You access each compartment with an index (number Between 0 and whatever the length of the array is MINUS one - because the indexes started at 0). For more details on how to use an array see http://docs.oracle.com/javase/tutorial/java/nutsandbolts/arrays.html If you have more questions after reading this AND experimenting feel free to ask. Feel free to put up your code as well if needed.
  8. Actually I would argue through history Arabic as a second language has been studied more extensively than English, especially within the subcontinent. It (Arabic) just hasn't been done in the English language to the same level (probably)
  9. He's saying you still have a lot to experience in life and you don't understand where he is in life so your opinion is invalid. I agree with the first part. Might be wrong lol
  10. Do you have any specific questions? I'll try and help you where I can
