I thought there was a thread for books you've currently read or have just finished but I can't seem to find it. If anyone else has any luck please post the link and I'll merge the topics. I'm reading a few things at the moment. The Hobbit but I am reading it very slowly. I need to take breaks from this book because it completely engulfs me. I started the Time Travellers Wife. Its interesting but not great. But I suppose that depends on what you're looking for in the books. There have been parts so far, well one part, that left me really horrified but I wish there would be more character depth :/ Maybe the other books will be better and provide the information that this one lacked. Again, not a bad book, but I think in the hands of a better author it could have truly been great.
After weeks of watching a friend post almost daily about this podcast, I finally gave in to popular culture and downloaded a few episodes... and boy am I glad I did! Listen here. Use this thread to discuss theories, breakdown events, and even try and solve the mystery of Hae's death. Did Adnan really do it? Begin.
HI EVERYONE!! So exactly what the title says. If anyone has seen both versions (one starring Liam Neeson, the other Hugh Jackman), which one is better?? Basically, I want to watch one cuz the book ROCKED SO BAD!!! but I dunno which one to watch. Points to consider: 1) I hate Anne Hathaway 2) I love Russell Crowe and Hugh Jackman 3) Liam Neeson is a boss 4) Amanda Seyfried makes me wanna puke (well, not really, but she reminds me of a whole bunch of bad (read: dirty) movies she's been in) Any suggestions? Like, NOW??? Cuz I want to watch it by tomorrow night latest. Les Mis 2012 is in theatres right now where I live, but I'd be watching 1998 online. If that makes a difference. THANKSSSS edit: also, am impartial to music, if it's there and makes the movie better that's great, but if it's not I don't care
