not for me that's for sure.

This was supposed to be a serious thread. :'(

ok serious questions:

1) how strict are you socially

2) do you think for yourself or do you follow your mother's every command?

3) do you place big emphasis on culture?

4) are you willing to work things out or are you completely closed minded?

im sure there would be more, that's what i was thinking just now.

Why are roles being reversed? Guys are supposed to know how to cook? Guys are supposed to know how to clean? Vat happening is this kya hai?

Oh, and I was kidding, sheesh. No one enjoys cleaning/being a neat freak more than me, so it doesn't even matter ...

Haha, I was also joking. No worries man.

But yeah, it seems that now-a-days a lot of the roles are reversed. Or so it seems in this Western society

Those are good questions but you need to frame it in a more open-ended way. That way you get to know what they are really thinking rather than telling you what you want to hear.

eg. What role does your parents views play on your decisions?

^This is the married thread, not 'questions to ask your maid' thread.

Go for it. I think a good way of putting it is, "how involved are you in house work?"

"Do you help around the house?"

"Does your dad help around the house?"

If the father doesn't it's possible the son wont either. Again there are exceptions to this.

true. but i wanna be up front and personal. if she becomes uncomfortable and starts stuttering i can automatically tell she doesn't have any self confidence, which is a no no for me.
