This section is dead and -nasally spoken- I shan't allow it.

Since we don't seem to have a salvageable science thread that isn't general or over a thousand years old, I henceforth claim this piece of data-turf for ye trendy and current MMers. -sticks flag through pixels-

Obligatory mood-inducing gif (also because Adventure Time is rad);

I'll be updating this thread with any stuffy stuff I come across and just generally nerding-out over things. Do join and stuff, if you be nerd enuff. :vampire:

This isn't a new story but I found out about it a couple of weeks ago: Through her sister’s eyes: Conjoined twins Tatiana and Krista were extraordinary from the beginning

^That stuff's so interesting.

I really want to learn more about science. Science people are so smart.

I can't remember if I first saw this on MM or if I first saw it at university (because we learnt all about superhydrophobicity) but still cool nonetheless so I'm gonna post it (again?) anyway..

From the microbes in our stomachs to the ones on our teeth, we are homes to millions of unique and diverse communities which help our bodies function. Jessica Green and Karen Guillemin emphasize the importance of understanding the many organisms that make up each and every organism.

Heads up, you're probably covered in bacteria and fecal matter right now.

Pretty much all aspects of your daily routine tend to be disgusting and your hygiene habits are way worse than you think. Although this list doesn't cover absolutely every way your life is a fungal-fueled fiasco, these are some of the more pressing habits you should probably address as soon as humanly possible.
