Arabic Phrases

Recommended Posts

So I'm learning Arabic but there are a few phrases that puzzle me/I don't know about. Since we have some Arabs here I thought it would be easy to get translations.

So each post I (or someone else) will just post the phrase and the context.

Todays phrase: عدم الإستقرار

Context: I'm learning weather forecasts and this comes up a lot. From what I can garner its got something to do with uncertainty??? Like I google imaged it and I saw a bunch of stuff from weather maps to falling stock prices lol.

Assalamualikum,

I want to learn to speak Arabic, could someone help me?

I know how to read the Quran but I need more practise with tajweed which I intend on improving.

Jazak Allah Hu Khairan

It may sound exciting at first but it can get boring and tiresome at times. This is made up by the satisfaction you get, but it's hard to stay committed lol.

lol I suppouse so, but it's not a big deal because the internet has so much info on it now.

btw if you want to speak Arabic, try and join a convo class just 2 times a week or something. There's also an app called iTalki that does something similar though I haven't tried it.

From my experience, speaking leads to comprehension.

^"Please" in Jordanian/Palestinian dialect, ay?

My favorite phrase is "Laa shukra 'Ala wajib" meaning, "No thank you for a duty."

Its used interchangeably with "youre welcome" in Morocco.
