Say: O ye that reject Faith!

Worship not that which ye worship,

Nor will ye worship that which I worship.

And I will not worship that which ye have been wont to worship,

Nor will ye worship that which I worship.

To you be your Way, and to me mine.

[Al-Qur'an: The Disbelievers]

Wasalmaualaikum warhatmullah.

Oh man, I remember Islamic school when they gave us a lecture about valentine's day   Hilarious memory..and then the principal goes "So if anyone here likes someone else, please let me know so I can perform Nikkah"  and we were all :eyebrow:  okay..so yeah it sounds corny when you say it but if you were there in that time of day and whatever then yeah..you would have laughed, okay??

Anyways, so eeee I'm so excited OMG OMG OMG :wow:

 Not...

And oh yeah, dude, Khalid was totally cool B)

I remember that last year at Islamic School, it was the day before Valentines day, and an Aunty asked "Did anybody know that today is the Islamic New Year?" Only a few handful of kids raised their hands, and when the same was questioned about Valentines day everybody raised their hands. I was so sad, that the next day I handed out pins to all my friends saying it was the Islamic New Year. That was my preliminary Da'Wah spreading tactic :D .

Muslims don't celebrate Christmas, even taken a present on Christmas could fall into the category of Shrik so then why celebrate valentines day or even acknowledge it?

Jazak'Allah khair Sister Niqabi for that.

The Blessed Prophet saliala hualayhi wassalam said Those whom we follow will be those whom we will be amongst on yaum al Qiyamah (The day of judgement)..If that isn't scary for you then may Allah punish all of you who turn a blind eye to the naseeha being posted on this thread.

Wassalam
